Meeting with AIESEC Mozambique

On May 11th 2022, the CCIFM held an interesting talk with Izidino Matlava, Country Director Mozambique, of the Belgian-headquartered and globally renown non-for-profit organization AIESEC. As many of you know, AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. AIESEC set up a base in Mozambique in 2000 and currently has 3 offices in Maputo, 1 in Sofala and 3 expansions in Nampula, Cabo Delgado and Tete.

I strongly encourage our members to engage with Mr. Matlava, (+258) 863308428,  izidino.ernesto(@)aiesec.net to discuss potential collaborations & partnerships.

AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. We are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by university students and recent graduates. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.  AIESEC is a global network of young leaders under the age of 30 who strive to better themselves and their communities. AIESEC members are passionate about world issues, leadership development, cultural understanding and experiential learning.

Since the foundation in Belgium in 1946, AIESEC has engaged and developed over 1,000,000 young people who have been through an AIESEC experience. The impact of this organisation can be seen through its alumni, who represent business, NGO and world leaders, including one Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Martti Ahtisaari of Finland.

AIESEC has offices in 126+ countries and territories, including Mozambique, which was founded in 2000. To this date, AIESEC has 3 offices in Maputo, 1 in Sofala and 3 expansions in Nampula, Cabo Delgado and Tete. In the last 10 years, we've been working with 25+ universities, 10 company partners and 150 members across the country. Together we've engaged more than 10.000 young people in our activities and projects and have delivered 700+ internships together with Brazil, India, Portugal, Tanzania, Namibia, Greece, The Netherlands and many more countries.
