MozParks inaugurates One-Stop-Shop (BAU) at Beluluane Industrial Park

MozParks yesterday inaugurated the Balcão de Atendimento Único (BAU) – a One-Stop-Shop service at Beluluane Industrial Park, marking a significant step forward in strengthening the efficiency and competitiveness of Mozambique’s leading industrial hub.

The ceremony was presided over by the Secretary of State of Maputo Province, Henriques Bongece, and MozParks CEO Onorio Manuel, and attended by government authorities, included Lázaro Bambamba, Boane District Administrator, Danilo Bay BAU General Manager, business leaders and tenant companies.

The BAU is conceived as a fully integrated one-stop-shop service desk, strategically located within Beluluane Industrial Park. Its objective is to facilitate and centralise key administrative processes for investors and enterprises, including licensing, registration, tax and migration services. By consolidating these services in one location, the BAU reduces administrative delays, simplifies procedures and allows companies to focus on their core business operations.

“The launch of the One-Stop-Shop (BAU) reflects our commitment to ensuring that companies operating in Beluluane Industrial Park have fast, reliable and transparent access to the services that are critical to their operations,” said Onorio Manuel, CEO of MozParks. “Industrialisation is not only about infrastructure, it is also about efficient systems and responsive institutions. The BAU is part of building that enabling environment.”

In its initial phase, the BAU will provide support in Business Licensing, immigration services and Tax Authority Assistance. Additional services will be introduced progressively in coordination with relevant public institutions.

“This initiative is also commendable because it is fully aligned with the strategic priorities of our government. As a government, our responsibility is to respond to the needs of our people. It is our mission to serve the population, and that means not only addressing their challenges but also ensuring that services are more accessible and simplified, ”stated the Secretary of State of Maputo Province, Henriques Bongece.

“Our objective is to increasingly bring services closer to investors and the community. We want this moment to serve as a way to strengthen our relationship with the Beluluane Industrial Park, so that more initiatives like this can take place in our district.” Stated the administrator of the District of Boane, Lázaro Manuel Bambamba

While the desk is open to the general public, companies based in the park will benefit from priority service, ensuring a seamless experience as they establish and expand their operations.
