Agnès Pannier-Runacher graduated from the business school HEC Paris, Political Sciences Institute in Paris, and the “École nationale d’administration” (ENA), and then began her career in the Finance Inspection Department.

Three years later, she became Chief of Staff to the General Manager of the “public assistance – Hôpitaux de Paris” (AP-HP) and a member of the Management Committee.

In 2006, she became Deputy Director of the “Caisse des dépôts et consignations” (CDC – Deposits and Consignments Fund), in charge of strategy and finance. She was namely in charge of strategic acquisitions, as well as shareholder monitoring of CDC’s strategic subsidiaries and holdings. She was thus called upon to work on the prefiguration of the Strategic Investment Fund (SIF), of which she was appointed Director and Executive Board Member in 2008.

She then joined the private sector in 2011, as Director of Faurecia Interior Systems’ Research and Development Customer Division, where she worked with several clients such as Jaguar Land Rover, General Motors, or Volvo.

Two years later, she joined the “Compagnie des Alpes” as Executive Vice President in charge of international development and performance of ski resorts and leisure centers. Her 14 years of service earned her the title of “Knight of the National Order of Merit” in 2014.
