General Assembly of the CCIFM – September 19th 2023 18h Société Générale

Dear member,

We are very pleased to invite you to the General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry France-Mozambique (CCIFM), which will take place on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 at 18h.

Venue: Casa das PME do Société Générale Mozambique, 140 avenida Julius Nyerere, Maputo. You need to go to the retail bank entrance (NOT the corporate one). 

The agenda is as follows:

·         Vote to approve the audited accounts of 2022

·         Election of 1 new member of the Board of Directors

·         Election of 1 new member of the Bureau of the General Assembly

We will also take this opportunity to share with you the summary of activities of the CCIFM since January 2023, and the P&L of the CCIFM for the period January to end July 2023, versus the Budget for Year 2023 voted during the General Assembly of January.

Regarding the first voting point: Vote to approve the audited accounts of 2022. We will send all necessary supporting documents beforehand, for your perusal.

Regarding the second voting point: Election of 1 new member of the Board of Directors and 1 new member of the Bureau of the General Assembly

Our administrator & treasurer Cyrille Créchet and our Bureau of the GA member Edgar Longui have left Mozambique (see letters of resignation enclosed) and we are therefore calling for applications of 1 new member of the Board of Directors (ideally a financial / accounting profile), and 1 member of the Bureau of the General Assembly. Do send your application (short CV or a few lines of presentation of your professional career) to Crystelle.coury@cciframoz.fr before September 15^th.  These will be sent to our community before our general assembly.

The statutes of the CCIFM are enclosed hereby, explaining the respective roles of the board and bureau of the General Assembly. Mandates are for a period of 2 years renewable once.

Final two points:

·         The Minutes of the last General Assembly of the CCIFM, which took place on January 24^th, 2023, are enclosed hereby.

·         As well as the Proxy (procuraçao) to complete and send back by email to sarmento.machai@cciframoz.fr  for those who won’t be able to attend. Proxies are to be sent before September 19^th 2023 at 14h.
