RAXIO DATA CENTRE

Raxio data center was designed and positioned as the first private cloud & carrier-neutral, colocation, Tier III data center company in Mozambique. The facility will provide its customers with state-of-the-art facilities in a fully redundant and secure environment that will ensure customers can enjoy business continuity for their critical applications as well as the most reliable disaster recovery site in the country.

Carrier neutrality will ensure customers not only have a choice of provider, but also means that they benefit from the most reliable choice of connectivity solutions as well.

Raxio was established in 2018 by US investment firm, the Roha Group, which focuses on developing business in Africa, in areas of inadequately addressed demand. And in 2021, the French Meridiam group entered with a S48M investment as an equity partner to expand our footprint and ambition in Africa.

The project consists of the design, finance, construction, and O&M of 10 sites, Across Africa. Following its first two facilities in Uganda and Ethiopia, Raxio is developing additional facilities across the region, with Mozambique, DRC, Ivory Coast, Angola and Tanzania currently in the implementation phase.
