Job vacancy : Cementing Laboratory Engineer for Pemba in Mozambique

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement sample collection operations according to the requirements of the project;

• Conduct QA / QC tests on oil well cement and additives to confirm the feasibility for operations;

• Develop technologies for Mud, Cement, Drilling Fluids and Acid operations and recommend the most effective technical and economical option for implementation;

• Maintain and manage files and documentation related to the test equipment and test results;

• Comply with the safety rules and regulations prescribed in the performance of the assigned functions.

Requirements:

• Graduation in Chemical Engineering or equivalent;

• Have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Cementation Laboratory Engineer in the Oil and Gas sector;

• Knowledge of mud, cement, drilling fluids and acids and other chemicals;

• Fluent in Portuguese and English
