CCIFM Supports a Regional Cooperation Initiative Between Mozambique and Réunion Island
Camara de Comercio e Industria França-Moçambique CCIFM is proud to support a regional cooperation initiative between Mozambique and La Réunion, aimed at strengthening port and logistics expertise across the Indian Ocean region.
In December 2025, 13 Mozambican executives from both public and private sector companies — Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM), CFM Logistics, AMT S.A., AGL and Kerry Project Logistics — took part in a one-week professional immersion programme in La Réunion.
They were welcomed by key stakeholders from the local port & logistics ecosystem, including Grand Port Maritime De La Réunion, Albioma, TERALTA, Groupe AUDEMARD, ARMEMENT ENEZ DU, Cementis Réunion, Groupe La Perrière, Steinweg Reunion, ALTRAD ENDEL, STATION PILOTAGE MARITIME DE LA REUNION, Infoport and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company.
The programme combined site visits, professional exchanges and in-depth discussions with local stakeholders, providing valuable insights into port operations, logistics management and industry best practices.
🎯 The objectives of the initiative are clear:
➡️ Share port and logistics know-how
➡️ Encourage peer-to-peer exchange and skills development
➡️ Build long-term, sustainable cooperation between regional port actors
This initiative was made possible thanks to the support of the European Union, within the framework of the InterregVIIndianOcean Programme, and the Région Réunion, enabling meaningful exchanges on key topics such as Smart and Green Ports.
Camara de Comercio e Industria França-Moçambique CCIFM remains fully committed to developing concrete, high-impact cooperation projects that support regional integration, capacity building and sustainable economic development.
Merci La Réunion, la France, l'Europe! Et merci le Mozambique pour votre confiance
