Camara de Comercio e Industria França-Moçambique CCIFM held a business breakfast “Members Presentation” yesterday in the stunning offices of BRAVANTIC. Thank you for welcoming us!
We learnt more about 3 of our members:
➡ Country Manager Eduardo Vicente explained the 'brand concept' behind BRAVANTIC which was set up in 2022, and how they have capitalized on 30 years of experience in the Information Technology sector when they were operating under the Portuguese-based Informatem. In Mozambique, they represent the biggest hardware & software producers, such as the French giant Alcatel-Lucent.
➡ US-Headquartered G4S shared how they have become a world leading player in the security space. Claudio Mussa, Sales Director commented on their footprint in Mozambique: 9000 employees, 11 branches, 14 control rooms, 272 vehicles.... They guarantee top-level security services for people and goods. G4S can manage any of your security needs, from your offices in Maputo to more complex & challenging sites (notably for the extractive industries in remote areas).
➡ Finally, newly born (2022) Mochi Logística & Serviços, SA shared the story behind the foundation of the Mozambican office, and how Mochi provides a large range of integrated logistics & freight forwarding solutions by sea, road, rail, and air, to and from Mozambique's three largest ports, Maputo, Beira and Nacala. We held an interesting talk with Operations Supervisor Venceslau Conceição on the opportunities and challenges of the logistics sector in the country.
