Functions
• Ensure that products comply with the standards established for the company as well as regulatory authorities,
• Develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by external inspectors;
• Train quality assurance employees and oversee manufacturing and production processes;
• Keep track and records of all tests and inspections that have been conducted;
• Elaborate reports on food quality status to relay to upper-level management.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Food Security, Food Engineer, Veterinary or related;
• More than 5 years of professional experience in Food Quality Control Officer;
• Specialized in EU food security procedure;
• Background in food preservation;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
