CCIFM Newsletter – July 2026

A new chapter for the France-Mozambique business community 🇲🇿 🇫🇷

Dear Members,

For my first editorial at the helm of the CCIFM, I would like to warmly thank all our members for their incredible welcome.

Kanimambo – Obrigado – Thank you! 🌍

I would also like to address, personally and on behalf of the Chamber, my sincere best wishes to our dear Crystelle for this new chapter in France. We wish her every success, happiness and fulfilment in her future projects. After all she has accomplished for the CCIFM, she truly deserves it.

My action plan for the coming months is structured around two main phases.

The first phase, covering the next six months, will focus on ensuring the continuity, stability and smooth operation of the CCIFM, while strengthening our relationship with members.

One of my main priorities will be to meet as many of you as possible, preferably directly in your offices, in order to better understand your activities, your expectations and how the Chamber can support you more effectively.

At the end of this first phase, I will present a two-year strategic plan for the CCIFM. This roadmap will not be a rigid document, but a dynamic framework that will evolve according to the business environment, the decisions of the Board of Directors and, most importantly, the suggestions and perspectives of our members.

Your involvement will therefore be essential in shaping the future priorities of our Chamber.

---------------------------------------------

CCIFM at the heart of the CCI France International network 🤝

During my recent stay in France, I had the opportunity to participate in several major events organised by our international network, CCI France International, which brings together more than 120 French Chambers of Commerce operating in nearly 100 countries.

I would like to remind all our members that your CCIFM membership gives you access to one of the world's largest French business networks through CCI France International digital tools, even on your mobile phone app.

---------------------------------------------

Annual Directors' Seminar – Learning, sharing and building connections 🚀

I was honoured to participate in my first CCI France International Directors' Seminar, alongside more than 60 Directors General from across the global network.

This exceptional gathering was an opportunity to better understand our organisation, exchange best practices and build strong relationships with colleagues from Southern Africa, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East and beyond.

I also had the opportunity to promote Mozambique, its dynamic business environment and the tremendous opportunities linked to its long-term economic development.

More details about this experience are available in my LinkedIn publication.

During this seminar, I also had the pleasure of establishing a strong relationship with Raja Touil, Director General of the French Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia, one of the largest Chambers in the network with around 2,500 members.

Beyond regular exchanges of experience and best practices, Raja and I agreed to develop a mentorship relationship, allowing us to share perspectives, discuss common challenges and support each other in our respective missions as Chamber leaders.

---------------------------------------------

General Assembly of CCI France International

I was also honoured to attend my first General Assembly of CCI France International as Director General of CCI France Mozambique.

This event highlighted the strength of our global network and its shared ambition: supporting companies internationally and strengthening economic ties between France and the world.

I was particularly impressed by the commitment of the network's leadership to ensuring that all Chambers actively contribute to this collective dynamic through cooperation, knowledge sharing and concrete support to businesses.

Proud to represent Mozambique within this outstanding community, I look forward to contributing to its continued development.

---------------------------------------------

Learning Expedition | Aix-Marseille-Provence 🌍

I also had the pleasure of participating in the Learning Expedition organised by One Provence, a two-day immersion into one of Europe's most dynamic industrial and innovation ecosystems.

The programme showcased remarkable examples of business excellence, innovation and economic development.

Although the programme was designed to promote investment in Aix-Marseille-Provence, I also took every opportunity to present Mozambique's business environment and strengthen relationships with leading industrial players.

La Plateforme was particularly interesting. Its practical approach to AI training demonstrates how organisations can rapidly develop digital skills and accelerate transformation. The organisation is keen to explore opportunities to expand its training programmes in Africa, creating potential synergies with local partners.

A full article about this experience is also available on LinkedIn.
